- Carry out one’s usual tasks without waiting for any specific guidelines.
- Identify problems, obstacles and opportunities, and carry out actions in response to them.
Foresee situations well in advance, acting to create opportunities for the organisation and avoid problems that are not obvious.
Flexibility to adapt to changes and viewpoints that are different from one’s own.

- Take into account the merits of different positions or opposing viewpoints.
A personal effort to improve and achieve excellence.

- Carefully control the quality of one’s own work and that of others.
- Systematically identify improvement opportunities.
Involve oneself in the goals of a group or organisation.

- Give active support to the organisation.
- Put the interests of the organisation before one’s own professional interest or those of one’s work unit or at least harmonise the two.
